Shutter Speed Experimentation

Shutter Speed 1/5, f5.6, ISO 100

When approaching the brief of "Shutter Speed", I decided to take a initial experimentation to gain more insight into what occurred when the shutter speed on a camera was changed and this, in turn, helped me to understand my camera's functions. The photograph I captured and edited (above) was taken with an artistic purpose in mind. The colors merge to almost form a painting and makes the photograph look very interesting and gripping.

I then captured people moving and in transit. I captured the image shown above to experiment with controlled movement with both my camera and the subject. I like the way the the colours merge together, but some details of the eyes and face are still visable.
